I have not seen the movie but this was a good book and a quick read!

Have not yet seen the movie, but was satisfied with the book. The main character, Becky, is irritating and fascinating at the same time. I found myself wanting to just shake her and tell her she's crazy. Yet, I couldn't put the book down!

I haven't seen the movie, but was curious enough about the story. Rebecca is so cute and infuriating all at once, and I was compelled to keep reading and find out how the heck she was going to get out of the big mess she made for herself! Quick, fun read!

"Confessions of a Shopaholic" is the second book I've read by Sophie Kinsella. I was, as before, amused and entertained by her protagonist's down-to-earth albeit flighty and erratic behavior and thought processes. I didn't give a full five-star review because I was annoyed with the main character often and found some of her reactions/thoughts implausible at times. It also seemed a little too neat of an ending. However, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the character's growth and relating to the mindset of a young woman trying to figure out her life. I will definitely be reading more of Kinsella's work, and I recommend it to any twenty-thirty somethings or those who enjoy light-hearted fiction.
