Andrew F. (Ravensworth) reviewed Complete Scoundrel: A PLayer's Guide to Trickery and Ingenuity (Dungeons & Dragons Accessory) on + 12 more book reviews
Helpful Score: 1
The additional rules provided in this supplement on well written but not really needed. Most of the subjects covered are well known to a DM or experienced player. The unexperienced player or GM will not be able to take advantage of the material because it requires a thorough understanding of the 3.5 edition.
Nevertheless it is a cleverly written book that can add to a campaign if one is so inclined. The problem with this supplement is not that it is not innovative it is that the subject like most AD&D 3.5 books has already been exhausted with OGL material.
Cudos to the authors for good writing.
