Since I have never seen author Annabel Karmel on TV and don't know what I am missing, I think that this book has some really cute ideas. Annabel includes 9 pages on indoor/outdoor games for a children's party.
The Sausage Airplanes, Cucumber Crocodile and Magic Toadstools are too cute. What child would not be impressed with a Tractor Sandwich or Funny Fish Sandwich? On the sweet side are the fabulous Chocolate Aliens. Also included are the Apple Smile that looks like dentures [too funny] and the watermelon [filled with fruit] that looks like a pig. I love all the colored photographs which makes it easier to duplicate for your own party.
I have always wanted to know how to make oranges filled with jello turned into boats. The 3 variations on Rice Krispie square is helpful.
For cake ideas there are the 3 Bears Cakes [each bear in his own bed - love it] and the Barbie Cake. Or the Train cake with its 4 cars. The swimming pool cake looks easy. Then there are the Kitty Cakes made from Twinkies and Easter Bonnet Cakes made with marshmallows [impressive].
