Haven't completely finished reading the whole book - just picking and choosing. Very informative and helpful. Some stuff I already knew, but am learning more. Giving me a deeper understanding. Amazed at how much in Christianity came from Pagan roots. Not a book to read and put down. I keep picking it up and rereading or reading a new chapter. Recommended for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the roots of religion.

Although I don't entirely like the names of the "Idiot's" books, this is a great overview of Paganism. I consider it a great "jumping off" point to start. Since Paganism is such an umbrella term, this book cannot possibly going into much depth, but it gives you the basics to which you can use to study further.
