I didn't read much of it. Once I saw "12 steps" and putting your trust in god as a way to let go of control, I knew it wouldn't work for me!

Excellent insight on why people control. Usually reaches back to insecurities or events that happened as children.......people who don't feel confident in themselves tend to try and control all that is around them. People, events, situations.......it provides them with the security that they need to feel ok. I was amazed at how close to home this book hit with the controller in my life. I thought the author had been in my own home. Excellent book. Gives great strategies on how to break the cycle as well.
