I loved this book, and Dan Mathews is a fabulous protagonist, a hero and a great story-teller! His story is from the heart and I could barely put the book down. I loved the pictures interspersed with the story. I recommended it to several friends who care about the plight of animals what a small group of caring humans are doing about it.
Very, very funny and entertaining read. Dan Mathews holds nothing back, so several of the stories are simply stunning.
This book was really good. Just be aware that after reading it if you are not a vegetarian you will feel guilty everytime you eat meat. I feel that fair warning is necessary. His story is fascinating whether or not you agree with his methods.
