I loved the movies, so was looking for some light reading when I had picked this one up off the shelf. It was cute and enjoyable enough for me to look for the others in the series.

Come on now you other reviewers. Admit it. This wasn't just for your grand kids like mine, you enjoyed it, too.

Well, I admit it. The story is interesting, well developed, and flows quickly. The action is understandably less than gruesome, but fun to read. I bought it for my grand kids and ended up enjoying it myself. I don't think they ever did get around to reading it.

My ten yr old loves the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and he loves to read.He bought this book on a shopping trip to Walmart.He really liked the book,read it in one afternoon.
