** spoiler alert ** I liked this one but the betrayal of the man that supposed to protected her all her life was at the heart of it all. The pain of her loss is more hurtful than the night her one mate was killed. But all the hurt and distrust Jaycee went through in all the others and this one she will have some bright moments to overcome some of the heartbreak, like she will have Mother Nature on her and her mates/ packs side, new and terrifying powers gifted to her and her mates from Mother Nature but a new growing family. BUT the worse ain't over yet they still have a big war coming to them involving evil snake shifters that want to take Jaycee as their broodmare and uses her for her powers and other disgraceful things. Her new family has not 2 but 3 powerful packs and half of the National Council alphas.
