You're acquanted with physical thirst. Stop drinking and see what happens. Coherent thoughtsvanish, skin grows clammy, and vital organs shut down. Deprive your body of the necessary fluids and it will tell you. Deprive your soul of spiritual water and it will tell you. But you dont have to live with a dehydrated heart.
I first read this book when I was having dificulty dealing with everything in my life. This book helped me put my life back in order and helped me to see things in a different light. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is willing to take the time to thoroughly read and process it.

Such a great book! I was thirsty I my thirst was quenched! Fell in love with this author after reading this though I still feel this is one of my favorites after reading other books of his.
Lucado writes sharing stories at the beginning of each chapter. He dwells on being "thirst-quenchy" and shares many situations where a person can be satisfied by God's love. Forgiveness, direction in life, guilt, fear are just a few of the subjects he writes about. While a person may be searching for meaning in life, his book is uplifting, inspiring, and includes many scriptural references. A study guide is at the end of the book.

He does the hard part. All you do is ask. There is no spiritual "to do" list for you to tackle, no inventory of rules and regulations. Just drink. Let Christ be the water for your soul. Come thirsty, and drink the water of life. This is a Large Print book. I posted it.
