COME RAIN OR COME SHINE
OMG - I laughed out loud, I cried, I didn't want this to end. Jan Karon touches my heart with her characters and their simple, profound insight. You could read this without having read the previous books, but it would leave the reader missing so much. I really hope she continues to write about Dooley, Lace, and Jack Tyler's next steps in life. A simple summer wedding and so many lives touched! Loved it!

As with all of the Mitford series books, I loved this one. Jan Karon draws you right into the little town of Mitford and you feel like you are a part of the community. I love Father Tim and his family.
I thought it was odd to feel so much a part of the town until I mentioned it to friends who had read the books and found that they felt the same as I did. You can't help but become a resident of Mitford once you start reading about it.
