I'll just get to the point. Colorado Dawn is a wonderful read. There's a feisty, independent woman; a determined, yet vulnerable, ex-soldier; a familiar and enjoyable cast of characters; and an interesting subplot all set in the beautiful American West. I wasn't sure how Maddie and Angus were going to work out their differences, but I was kept guessing almost to the very end. What a nice change. I would like to see Kaki Warner take the sensuality up a notch or two, but her exciting storytelling makes up for that. Definitely worth a four-star rating.

The story was good, it was a little annoying that I can't remember the male characters name... The way he talked it reminded me of Yoda from Star Wars so he spent the entire book being called Yoda, drove me crazy when he would talk. Other than that it was a fun story, I still give it a 4 star rating, lost 1 star because of Yoda.
