This is a wonderful book. I read the book the same day I got it. The story is absolutely riveting. A true blending of the South of the late 1940's and the South of the Civil War. If you're looking for something to read to enjoy, as well as give you something to think about, this is the book for you. Highly recommend.

Easy read but a story that will keep the reader engaged. I didn't want to put it down until I had figured out all of the characters.
