I'll give this a fair rating but I tend to go lower
Started out interesting and I liked the characters but the story was draggy. 381 pages that at the half point it had gotten nowhere with the main plot, it was still just draggy and repeating over and over
I skipped a lot just to get to a part that brought the story to a point it was moving and going somewhere, it took forever to move along
I want a fast paced something happening every chapter kind of story and this one didn't do it for me

San Antonio Texas Det. Amara Alverez discovers that a school bus accident may not be what it seems. The accident involves murder, kidnapping and other crimes. Book was fast-paced & hard to put down. Loved Alverez and her pet iguana. She is an amazing heroine as she tries to save the children. The plot was very intriguing and held my attention to the very end.
