Awesome book a lot of twists. I love the writers sense of humor and his characters like his friend who is his lawyer. Way too funny ...Great mystery with a few twists
Humerous---fast paced. Jack Field one of Maine's kennel owners enjoyes spending quality time with pooches. While playing with Tipper, a corgi, teh dog returns with a bloodstained cap in her teeth. When Jack, an ex-New York cop decided to investigate he finds an anonymous dead man clutching Tipper's tennis ball.

If you are reading these in series, #1 is moderate for language and sexual content, #2 is awful for both, but I pressed on and loved this one very, very much. Continuing to #4, hope it's as good.
Wonderful book. Once again - the author sends you off onto another mystery with the loveable dog trainer Jack Field.
Too many adjectives for my liking. Also, I found it sort of weird that a guy (the narrator) described clothing in such detail ("her turquoise bandeau...matched her earrings.")
I'll admit I didn't get past page 7.
This might be a great book for those who like both romance and mystery. I don't have much tolerance for romance novels.
