BAKER-ONE-SEVEN, early on in the korean war, a personal look at a leaders roll..

Very good, first hand account of the Chosin Reservoir campaign.
Brutal conditons, as well as lack of proper gear/equipment and supplies made this an especially tough fight................that 2 1/2 yrs. later ended in a truce!

No Marines ever fouht under worse conditions. Joe Owen's account of Baker-One-Seven's courageous ordeal is blunt, authentic, and compelling - a fitting tribute to his company and to his Corps.
