I quit after part 1, it doesn't start out very interesting then it gets to be page after page of just descriptions of every thing on this earth. Part 1 is 110 pages and if all the descriptions had been left out or cut down to reasonable there would've been 60 pages or so--I didn't find anything in part 1 that made me want to continue--it sounds kind of like a ghost story but I just didn't care to continue to find out, I have other books by this author I want to try especially the Lincoln Perry ones but if they are like this one then I won't bother to finish them.

Very good book! I know the French Lick, Indiana area where the story is set in and the author did a wonderful job describing it to a "T". It was a great story line and the story in the book is definitly something that could happen at French Lick if it were possible. I like a story with a little more pick-me-up but it was well worth reading and kind of neat to read about the little details and places that only locals know about :)

This is a great thriller that is difficult to put down. Nothing is as it seems, so you are guessing at every page!
