loved the story line, and how it was based on the people and they did all the talking so it was interesting to see the different points of view, love it
Finding the point of view character very annoying (and implausible -- would any archaeologist dig leader really bring along a friend with such neuroses about the remains of the dead? Especially one who isn't an archaeologist, but doing her PhD on Victoria lit*, and just wants to come along for a bit of a holiday, while she reads Middlemarch?
