In my enormous attempt to study human consciousness and all it entails, I've encountered several scientists and other experts who suggest the "near death experience" is actually a disassociation from physical constraint (body) into the non-local consciousness that exists everywhere and for all time. This makes sense to me. I've had (perhaps thousands) psychic experiences myself, some of them quite profound, and I am fairly convinced that this non-local consciousness DOES exist. So, if (during physical death) the "energy" of that consciousness within all living things (that manifests appropriately to its "container") continues (as it must), then Prem Rawat's description of the Peace that resides within us all at every moment of our lives is TRUE. This is a good thing. We might all explore this rather than devote our brief lives to the superstitious, fear based teachings of religions, all of which arose at a time when human consciousness was unavailable to the possibility of its true origins. It's the MYSTICS we need to consider, those who have always (remarkably!) intuited what appears to be the foundation of creation. This is a fascinating topic and I encourage anyone to pursue it.
