Madhur Jeffrey writes an exotic tale of her Indian culture of the far east, as well as the food & cuisine of India. Jeffrey shares tales of her family enduring the sweltering heat of India, as well as her families' vacations to the cool mountain, enjoying large extended family picnics. Jeffrey's writing leaves the reader with a knowledge of Indian culture, as well as Jeffrey's rich family background history; her writing style is wonderfully written. The reader will go on an adventure in this book. Also included is a recipe collection of Indian recipes. A great read...
