I found this book to be pretty dry and clinical. However, I'm sure there's not much real information to go by when you're writing a book about a person who lived centuries ago. Still, I had started it out with high hopes that it would at least keep my interest. I really enjoy history, so am used to a certain amount of dullness. However, I had to force myself to finish this book. If you want a little more pizazz, you should read another version of Cleopatra's life.
