A dozen of his short stories are collected here, mostly from the 1990's. The introductory essay is a must read as the author shares some of his motivations, philosophy, and objectives. For scholars of SF, in some stories he aims to compliment an author by writing in that style, such as Lovecraft.
Unfortunately, I will have to get a copy from LAPL because I noticed this book on the booktruck with freebies near the door of the branch library, one of the two 15 minute computers was available, and I listed it since there were no copies offered on Paperbackswap (and listed another freebie that was on someone's wish list)---One of you rascals took it up before I could read it!
