What a wonderful book! This is the third in this series and while lengthy it is so very well done. I just couldn't put it down until I reached the last page.

Sometimes it's hard to write coments about a book one enjoys so much. Where do you start? The characters are memorable. The plot connectx history, suspense, romance, and even the supernatural. The book opens in 1942 in France's Languedoc region

And, readers later meet Arinius, a monk who lived in 342 AD, whose charge was to save a few religious lines that leaders in the church have decided are heretical and want destroyed. This section is known as the Codex and many want to get their hands on it including the Nazis, religious fanatics and collectors. Woe be to those who get in the way of any one of these groups who will stop at nothing to get the Codex. So the story unfolds weaving a tale between the three groups and the key people within them while turning back to how it all began with Arinius and his wife as their life unfolds. I liked it very much.
