I really enjoyed this book! Its set in the 1300's Scotland and is a Scottish romance but with a Christian overtone. But what's different is that the religious theme is not "in your face"....its totally in keeping with the belief's of the time, and is not an overpowering theme in the book. Other than that - I can't wait to read more by this author and definitely in this series!

I thought this book was good, and unlike some romance novels that portray two people who "can't be together" for ridiculous reasons that are quite unbelievable, the reasons in this book made sense. It's nice to read the work of an author with enough imagination to come up with a plausible reason for the conflict in the story!
Note: This version of the book has a nice, sturdy cover and deckle-edge pages to make it seem like an old manuscript.

I LOVED this book and #2 and can't wait to read 3
I really enjoyed this book. The main character is very likable and easy to relate too. The love interest was really adorable. After a few weeks away from the gym, it made me want to go back and work out!
