This is such a good heartwarming book! Have a box of kleenex handy! These gals met in
college and agreed to write in a journal and send it to one another about their lives.
We get to read what really happened in their lives compared to what they write. They
later get together to share their stories - a wonderful book, I thought. One of my
favorites!

Enjoyable story about friendship

A beautiful story of acceptance and love.

Through the years the circle journal kept Grace and her friends connected, though the stories they wrote didn't always line up exactly with the lives they were living. In one last reunion they learn true friendship.

A fast easy read that touches the heart and leaves you with a renewed faith in love.

This was a surprising read in many ways, with the focus on a group of college friends who reconnect in their early 50's, after having had very little contact except through a "circle" journal. In this journal, each of them lied about some important aspect of their lives to their others, and they "fess up" on a weekend trip back to their college town. Not the stereotypical "friendship" novel, but it shares common themes of friendship and being open and honest in relationships. Some surprising twists in each of the character's lives keeps it a fast and enjoyable read.
