Linc Blaise has himself in a bind. When he interviewed for a job at a small conservative university, he lied when he told them that he was engaged. Now they've asked him to present a paper at the university...and bring his fiancee. It seemed impossible to come up with a bride-to-be on short notice, until he noticed his neighbor, Daisy Flattery, charming her way out of a sticky situation. Daisy agrees to make over her flamboyant self into a quiet conservative fiancee for a couple of days. But soon the couple of days turns into a marriage of convenience for Linc and Daisy.
Cute romantic comedy with two likable characters. I didn't want to sit this book down and finished it in a couple of hours. Anyone who likes Crusie's humor will enjoy this book. My score: 4.5 Stars.

This Is A Good Read But It's Short
Typical Crusie - nothing surprising - I would classify as a chic lit, cozy read. Not one of her best - but typical.
