  CHRISTMAS

What does Christmas mean to me?
Yuletide greetings? Tinseled Tree?
Sprigs of Holly, green and red?
Thoughts of candies in my head?

Ah! NO. These are but earthly things
With which to spend some happy hours.
My thoughts of Christmas soars on wings
And reaches to the Iv'ry Tow'rs

It marks the day Christ came to earth
A tiny baby, meek and mild,
The hopes of man-kind vested in
This Heaven-sent, Earth-born, God-man Child.

What does Christmas mean to me?
God's Gift, Life through Eternity!
My gift to Him, when 'tis complete
Will be sheaves to place at
His Bless-ed Feet.

Nicely done. It's what Christmas is really about, and some people forget.
