Four Holiday stories in one book. Had to go and find the First Wife of Reiley as the The Second Wife of Reiley was very entertaining.
A good read. Take this to the beach.

I ordered this book because I love anything written by Jane Green. Her story was good, but the real surprise was how hooked I was by Liz Ireland. She is now on my must read list. All three stories are great and this is a nice quick read. Each author also includes an excerpt of another book which I loved.

"Vacation" by Jane Green. Manhattan realtor Sarah feels her spouse Eddie is a stranger even after eight years together and two children. She rarely remembers the happy moments that they shared as she believes their two children who she loves have nuked their relationship. At the same time Eddie finds his self-esteem on empty. Deciding to separate, this looks like the last Christmas that Sarah and Eddie will remain married barring a Yuletide miracle.
"The Second Wife of Reilly" by Jennifer Coburn. When Prudence went to Ann Arbor for a reunion she had a weekend fling with her college lover and ended her marriage to Reilly, but feeling guilty as her husband did nothing wrong, she searches for a new spouse for him. Six months later second wife Sarah decides to insure wacky Prudence stays out of their lives by turning the tables and searching for a husband for the first wife.
"Mistletoe and Holly" by Liz Ireland. Holly loves spending Christmas with her family, but afterward feels lonely as her two sisters and brother always have someone with them before, during, and after. This year Holly takes Jason with her, but as the days go by she has doubts as he fits in very nicely with her picture perfect family while she does not and even under the mistletoe her mind wanders back to work.
These are three well written comedic family dramas that are fun frolics for sub-genre readers; however any vacation time could have been the setting as the Christmas holiday gala is not essential to these three fine novellas.

Three sweet, funny, and ultimately cheering stories to get you in the mood for Christmas any time of the year! This anthology includes Vacation, by Jane Green; The Second Wife of Reilly, by Jennifer Coburn, and Mistletoe and Holly, by Liz Ireland. Since I'm a sucker for reconciliation, my favorite in this collection was Green's "Vacation," where Christmas helps bring an estranged couple back together and reunites their family. Coburn's story is not a classic romance, and serves as a bit of a lead-in to her full-length book, The Wife of Reilly. It's told from the point of view of the happily married current wife of Reilly, whose goal becomes to find her husband's ex a new man. Ireland's humor shines as she tells the story of Holly, who finally figures out that her best friend can be oh-so-much more... All in all, a great Christmas read!

I really enjoyed this book. Two stories featured married couples and the last an enstablished friendship that turns to more then just friends. Christmas is the time for fresh starts and this book does it by laughter!

Three stories to this book!!!
Vacation-Jane Green
If Sarah knew moving to the suburbs would mean losing everything about her relationship that was young, romantic, and fun, she would have planted her feet firmly in the city cement. Reigniting the spark she and her husband, Eddie, once had isn't easy, especially with two kids added to the mix. And when Eddie's job sends him to Chicago indefinitely, Sarah wonders if she might be better off alone. A lot can happen during a long break from marriage. But as Christmas approaches, will Sarah recognize the gift she's taking for granted?
The Second Wife of Reilly-Jennifer Coburn
Falling in love with Reilly was easy for Sarah, but marriage is proving to be a little more worrisome-especially with Prudence, Reilly's ex, still single. Since it's the season of giving, Sarah decides to find Prudence a man of her own. But shopping for another woman's prospective husband isn't as easy as whipping out a credit card at Bloomie's...
Mistletoe And Holly-Liz Ireland
For once, Holly is determined to fit into her family's pictureque Norman Rockwell Christmas. Even with her wry best friend Isaac along for the ride, she's got perfect boyfriend Jason to introduce and matching snowman sweaters all picked out. Unfortunately, the holiday spirit is on the fritz and no one is interested in perfection, including Holly. Because she's beginning to realize that Isaac looks pretty darn good under the mistletoe...
Spike the eggnog, fire up the yule log, and partake in a little holiday cheer of your own with this irresistible collection. What better way to celebrate the season?
