When her husband is gone every Wednesday night, all sorts of ideas start running through her mind...and the town starts talking.

This is a hilarious, short read. You'll find yourself giggling at every chapter.

Beautiful Gift book.
Pastor Sam decides to be ready for Christmas once. He attends a class to make his wife a special present and the rumors of all sorts of improprieties fly around town. This is a humorous Christian book. The Christmas Stickers are enclosed.

This is perhaps my favorite of the Christmas books. The story is short but packed full of humor. Gulley has a way of creating quite vivid pictures with his words. The thing I remember most about this book is the part where is in his weekly scrapbooking class to make a scrapbook for his wife. He thinks he has improved his skills greatly when he somehow manages to glue is hand to the top of head. He then has to have his hair cut in order to free his hand. Then loses a layer or two of skin to the glue in a hand washing. In true harmony style he gets his head shaved upon returning home only to have it start the rumor he has cancer and won't be alive much longer. He injures himself which only adds fuel to the fire. I love it! I attended church with those same people growing up. they just had different names. It's a wonderful and quick read!

A trip to the library...

We only go once a month or so. Since we were in town to go to the dentist yesterday, we spent a couple of hours at the library. While the kids were downstairs selecting their books and using the computers, I found a comfy chair and browsed through a tall stack of books to make my selections. You guessed it, Christmas books. Anyway, I glanced through this little book and thought I'd read the first couple of pages... well, maybe a few more... yes, I read the entire book! It was soooo funny! I couldn't laugh out loud in the library, but I did wave my hands a bit in excitement at just how good the story was. I'm not going to do a review of this book, but you have to know it's the funniest book I've read in ages. I stopped the girl shelving books and told her about it. She took it home to read. ~smile~ Just click through and check it out. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I did not enjoy this as much as his first Christmas book but good none the less. Can't beat Harmony and scrapbooking put together
