I thought it would be fun to dig into a x-mas story & try to get a head start on the holiday spirit. This read did the trick. It was a perfect story for the holidays. The group of women who call themselves "The Diamond Lils" play poker every Thursday night. They also do community work. The story is about caring & sharing and helping others. It isn't really a love story as much as it is a match making plot. It has charming streets and darling beauty shops, cafes, and wonderful friends that keep the story interesting from beginning to end. You will love "Hemingway" the scruffy huge mutt who isn't easy to be contained to his yard & the children he goes to visit. It's a story of the holidays and love for one another that was never preachy & was over much to quickly for me. I adored it.
