I love anything set in New Mexico but this story was a great "feel good" story.

Christmas magic was hard to find along the trail west in 1866. But Lizzy Spooner was determined that her warweary family would hold on to their dreams, even if the wilds of New Mexico, where the winter snows were deep & the men as hard as the land that bore them.

The spirit of Christmas had little meaning for Cody Martin, a grieving man who had wedded himself to the mountain wilderness where he had made his home. Yet 1 snow filled night, a glimmer of promise appeared before him, in the form of one Lizzy Spooner, his own Christmas ange.
