Nice little romance...read it in a couple days. Covers a period of about 2 weeks during the Christmas holiday. Some of the terms were unfamiliar to me, such as the clothing, Christmas games and referring to a maid as an abigail. I guess that helped give the book more historical flavor. I enjoyed the description of the one Christmas game called snapdragon. I loved the way all the problems in the book were solved in the end and of course it had a romantic happy ending, which is my number one requirement for a good romance.

Elizabeth Mansfield never disappoints! Great Regency romance. Enjoyed that the hero was an older man with a full grown son, not something that is the norm. And the ending is excellent.
