This is sort of a change of pace in Anne Perry's Charlotte & Thomas Pitt series. The Pitts do not appear in this story. The sleuth this time is Charlotte's grandmother Ellison, and we see her in a very different light from previous books. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I think all Anne Perry fans will as well.

This was a pretty good book. Kind of hard to get into but the print is big and it was easy reading. I finished it within a few hours.
