A very good first-person account of an incredibly horrific crime. Translated from French, Sabine's strength and courage shine through, as she speaks in a frank and direct manner about her experiences. That this little girl was able to hang on to hope through her ordeal is nothing short of miraculous. A very good read, though the subject matter is difficult.

Sabine's account of her kidnapping is heartbreaking. I was appauled at how long it took before her kidnapper was brought to justice. A very sad story, but with a wonderful ending.

A wonderfully told first person account of a 12 year old girl who was kidnapped and held in a tiny underground room for 3 months before finally being found. You really feel for that little girl.
