I had to give it five stars; not because it was fascinating, but because it works! I've been struggling with borderline high cholesterol for several years, and my doctors wanted to put me on meds. I was already on a low fat diet and exercising a lot, but the number kept rising and HDL going down. I wanted to give a non-med approach one more try. After a few weeks on this program (doing most of the steps, but not all) my total cholesterol went down by 40 (forty!) points!!! A little longer, and my HDL went up, too. My doctor was amazed! No more threat of going on statins. Give it a try, I don't find it too hard, and it DOES work. The author provides the science behind each approach, so you feel good about trying it.
