A great book that mixes a love of chocolate with romantic love. It's a book about a girl who's never given in to Love before, not really, and has masked everything with her love of chocolate, until she finds herself falling in love with her best friend.
Excellent read by an excellent author. I highly recommend it!

I'm a huge fan of Koomson's books, and this has to be one of my favourite. In most of her books Koomson deals with the deeper, darker issues - rape, physical or mental abuse, abandonment issues - and does so very capably, with an honesty and sensitivity that truly make you feel for her characters. The Chocolate Run, however, is much lighter, and I have to say possibly my favourite for exactly that reason.
The relationship between Amber and Greg is both entertaining and realistic, the characters likeable and easy to relate to. The plot moves at a comfortable pace, and the ending is satisfying without pandering to the Happily Ever After one comes to expect from "chicklit".
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable read that will leave you wanting more. Luckily, Koomson has plenty other books to sink your teeth into - all of which are equally engaging!

I mostly enjoyed this book. Light, fun reading. There were only a few parts that were a bit unbelievable, but all-in-all it was a pretty fun story.
