What a wonderful, true story of the Chiru. These antelope like animals are only found in the very high mountains of Tibet. The story tells of how they were being killed off by poachers for their fur...it took 5 animals to make one shawl...and of the men who saved them from becoming extinct. It is a great story, and one every child should know.
