Deals with gun violence among children, after the shooting the children all agree to stick together with their story, so most of the book is about secrets

There are a lot of characters in this book and at times it's hard to remember who is who and which kid belongs to which parent, also the difference in people here we have the couple from England, a family that is Muslim, along with the self righteous parent, along with just the regular people from a small town

The pace of the story is very slow and repetitive and rambling on and on from each character that just wasn't necessary so a lot of pages can just be skimmed to get over the repetitive parts

When the truth finally comes out? nothing happens except maybe opens the eyes of the adults

I thought the story started good but then it just kept going down hill because it was mostly about gun control and then she had to bring in the governor and politics and that was a joke (but probably a true outline) and the repeat was nearly every page, no suspense or anything but mainly just a bland story
