this being the last in the original lensmen cycle and the last in the series by the doc himself it was a good finish to a fine series. strongly recommend to anyone who wants to know where modern scifi novels truely got started. and if anyone recognises themes in the lensman chronicles... well everyone steals from the doc ^.^
