This is not the Christian book of her series. This book was written before she started writing Christian literature. So bear in mind that the sex scenes are described.

Excellent, excellent book! I really loved this story. Right from the beginning, almost the very first page the story grips your heart. I just finished it and already i want to read it again. The only thing that i didn't really like was that there wasn't much mention of God, but don't let that discourage you from reading it, make your own opinion first because its definitely worth reading!
The story is about a woman named Anne who uses her skills to heal people. People have superstitions about her a call her a witch which causes obvious trouble right away when she uses her own breath to bring a baby back to life. A man from an enemy clan sees her and accuses her of being a witch, but before she can be burnt at the stake a man comes forward and saves her life.
Because of this she later saves his life and is forced to marry him to stop a feud between their opposing clans. Will love find them before a traitor in the clan kills them both?

Very good book. Has romance, suspense, old witch hunter priest, mystery, betrayal, and characters who believe in
God. I've read many secular Highland (Midevil) romance before I gave them up and took a chance on romance books without all the sexual content in them. While it is not in this book, it is a very good story and I didn't miss it. Its a well written book and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like the stories with hard-headed male heroes, you'll like this one. He really isn't, he just doesn't know who to trust. Take a chance, read it.

GREAT READ!!!!
I can't explain it, but I really enjoyed this book. Yes, it was somewhat predictable. Yes, the romance seemed lacking. However, the story itself kept my interest and I found myself cheering for the chieftan to rescue his damsel. I especially loved the descriptions of the Highlands and the time period.

I could not put this book down...ended up, staying up all night reading. Wow...just when you think you have it figured out...you don't. Who is the traitor among them? Great read.
