This is a wonderfully thorough and detailed book. What kept me from rating it higher or keeping my copy is the lack of an index. If you want to locate a specific herb there are several different sections you must look for it. By the same token, if you're looking for herbs that might treat a specific problem, you have to look in quite a few places.

If someone has time or inclination to read page after page, I believe this possesses a wealth of information.
