I'm actually very fortunate to know Paul and his current signal dog, Brea. Paul was one of my professors in college, and was definitely the best.

This book is a must read for ANY animal lover, whether or not you are familiar with service dogs or the Deaf Community. Paul eloquently describes his life before Chelsea, what they went through in order to receive her, and their life with her. There's a surprise appearance by Charles Shultz and his wife!
