I was given a copy of this book from the publishers via NetGalley, in return for an honest review.
The Chase is pretty classic Janet Evanovich. There's humor, adventure, comedy and a bit of understated romance. Fox and O'Hare make a good team, and I can easily see them hooking up in a future book. I was a little disrupted by the fact that I hadn't read the first book in the series, but it wasn't too bad. There were only minor mentions of the previous book.
Over all, an ok story and I would probably pick up the rest of the this series if I need something to read as filler.

Very entertaining. This book has a bit of sexual tension (I can't honestly call it romance), a good dollop of adventure, lots of twists & turns, & it's a whole lotta fun. I read it in one sitting. It does have a few gaps in the story - little pinpricks that will have you saying "whaaa?", but when you put the book down, I bet you'll have a smile on your face.
