A novel about a quirky witch that turns her boss into a puppy, and his too serious nephew who tries to find him. When the 2 get together will the sparks fly? You'll have to read to find out. This is a good, and funny story.

Delightful fluff reading. Story involves a young woman who turns her boss into a dog and the nephew who comes to look for him. Some parts were laugh out loud funny.

A very funny, quick read about a wacky girl who finds the guy of her dreams at the most inopportune time imaginable.

From the back of the book:

Impratical Magic
Callie Hauseman may be descended from a long line of somewhat ditzy witches, but the family magic certainly isn't working for her. Why else would the scattered-brain beauty be stuck in a dead-end job, socking away money to finish that college degree? Callie isn't serious when she spits out a curse her Aunt Agnes used to say, but in an instant, she has changed her cranky tyrant of a boss into an adorable golden retriever puppy! Now, panicked and desperate, Callie's got to find someone to help her reverse the curse... before his handsome newphew starts sniffing arround...

Improbable Love
As a CPA, David Teller likes everything about his life buttoned up, just like his Uncle Sy. So why hasn't the old man RSVP'd to David's wedding invitation? Determined to get an answer (and appease his demanding fiancee), he marches into Sy's office only to find his wacky secretary, babbling about accidentally turning his uncle into a dog. Before he can say, the cute ones are always crazy, David is following Callie, determined to uncover her secret. But the more time he spends with her, the more he's sure she's telling the truth...because for the first time ever, he's feeling utterly bewitched...

Entertaining but frustrating with references to old movies.

It was only Thanksgiving week and Callie Hauseman was already sick of snow.

Callie is working a dead end job with an overbearing obnoxious boss. She reaches the end of her rope one day and accidently turns him into a puppy using her latent inherited witchcraft. Screwball chaos ensues when the boss' nephew shows up to see why he has not RSVP'd to his wedding.

I really tried to like the characters. Callie's knowledge of old movies should have been enjoyable but it became quite annoying to have every situation in her life compared to a scene from a movie. I never quite clicked with David. He seemed to be trying so hard to be something he was not. Sparky was my favorite character by far.

A cute premise that didn't come across as well as I would have liked.
