This is the only fictional tale of the Brontes that I have read. I have read everything they all wrote (am now finishing up Tenant of Wildfell Hall), and I thought this book was fascinating. After reading this book, I just had to know how accurate the details were. I then read Elizabeth Gaskell's book on Charlotte, which confirmed most of the background facts of the Morgan novel. I was very impressed this author did that much research.
