I love the Charlie Bone series and I would highly recommend it to anyone (fantasy lovers and nonlovers alike!) This book is the 7th in the series and like the previous 6, it is so FUN and full of action, I could barely put it down! Here, the rising conflict between the good guys and the Shadow escalates and new characters are introduced (an ancestor of charlie bone for one) and previous characters are given more depth and story. I just loved how much seemed to be going on every time. I mean, the plot isn't as complicated as Harry Potter yet it's got its own unique charm. It's just a really fun read about battling evil with friendship, loyalty and love. I HIGHLY recommend this and all the other 6 books in the series to everyone. You won't regret it!

This series is fun. I mentioned before that I have been reading these to my fifth grade class. Then I brought them home to my husband. He devoured them. He loves fantasy and Jenny Nemmo is a wonderful author.
