Fifteen characters, including Christ himself, are detailed as players before or at the crucifixion of Jesus. Among these we find Peter, the high priests, Pontius Pilate, Roman soldiers, the women of Jerusalem, the mother of the Zebedee brothers, Mary Magdalene, and Mary, the Mother of Jesus. This is not the complete list. Each entry ends was a reflection-prayer. Excellent reading for Lent.
