A intense, heart-pounding story of student versus mentor in the playing field of forensic investigation. Ridley Pearson links computer technology, psychological intensity, and complex questions of police and human ethics to create this breathlessly paced, unputdownable thriller.

Ridley Pearson is definitely my favorite mystery/thriller writer. This book got my attention right from the beginning but the second half had me sitting on the edge of my seat and I stayed up way too late too many nights because I did not want to put it down. This is a serial killer novel that speaks to reader's hearts evan as it jangles their nerves. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre.

Detective Joe Dartelli made one mistake in his police career. He ignored a piece of evidence that pointed to murder, in a death labeled a suicide. The evidence would have implicated Dartelli's mentor, forensic specialist Walter Zeller.

Now another suicide victim turns up, again raising suspicions of murder.

A detective who thinks his detective boss and mentor committed the crime. Good read, you will get hooked on Pearson once you read one of his books.

Detective Joe "Dart" Dartelli chose to ignore a piece of evidence in a case three years ago because it pointed to his former mentor, forensic specialist Walter Zeller. The case was labeled a suicide, but may have been a murder. Now another suicide turns up, or is it a murder?

FAST PACED DETECTIVE STORY. INTERESTING PREMISE OF A DRUG THAT COULD BE GIVEN TO SEX OFFENDERS TO STOP RECIDIVISM AND THE MULTIPLE MURDERS USED TO ATTEMPT TO STOP IT FROM BEING USED. WISH IT WERE TRUE!
