I've been studying Celtic history for almost 10 years know and Cunliffe is probably by far the leading expert on the subject. I found this book an excellent concise guide to the broad subject of 'Celtic' which also confronts modern definitions and ideals of the subject. This is a great short reader for anyone wishing to know more with out getting bogged down in the deep history of the people. Interesting and informative with out being overwhelming.
