Cell is Stephen King's take on the 'zombie apocalypse'. Great book for commuters - unabridged and good enough to keep you looking forward to your daily commute to and from work.
Typical King.....you'll either love it or hate it. I loved it.
Now I know why I never really did care to use a cell phone. Leave it to King to turn one of man-kinds most loved forms of communication, into a terrifying novel...
I really thought that this was a good book, not his best, but definitely not his worst. It is definitely up there with the top Stephen King books.
I used to love King's books but I hadnt read any in awhile, despite having a few on my TBR. So this summer I put a few audio on my phone and decided to tackle them that way. Cell was a disappointment. It only kept my interest marginally but I hung in there expecting a rewarding finish, I did not get my reward. ***Spoiler the ending reminded me of Thinner, but that was a much better book. I dont know if I will do King again any time soon..
Typical King book. I hate the way he ended this book.
