If you are a beginning crocheter or knitter, and know the "basic" stitches, this is a great book. You also get some interesting interviews with celebrities such as: Lauren Ambrose, Shiri Appleby, Justine Bateman, Jennifer Beals, Rosario Dawson, Jennie Garth Portia de Rossi, and many many more! I love how the stories tell why they knit/crochet, and some even say how they got started. This is definitely an interesting read, especially if you are interested in taking up knitting or crocheting. You will find out that there are many others just like you, who hook some scarves for great pleasure.
